Tenant Hints & Tips – How to Clean Air Conditioning Filters

Cleaning the Air Conditioning filters in your property are often forgotten, especially during Summer when air conditioners are potentially being used every day in hotter periods.

Dirty or full filters can affect the function of your air conditioner and may be the cause of other issues, if not attended to regularly. If you find that your air conditioner is not as cool as it could be, or perhaps the fan is not as strong, make sure you have checked the settings are correct on your remote first. Next check the filters and clean them, as this could correct the issue and eliminate the need to report maintenance.

Don’t forget that it is just as important to do this in Winter also (especially if the unit it reverse cycle); on a regular basis during the year and at the end of your tenancy before handing in your keys.
